Since its inception in 1929, the Junior League of Saginaw Valley (now Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region) has worked to fulfill its mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective leadership of trained volunteers. From arts and education to helping at-risk children and promoting healthy lifestyles, the Junior League has created and participated in a wide variety of projects over the past 80 years. We strive to impact the health and wellness of the women and children in our community.
Current Focus Area
The Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region's issue-based community impact (IBCI) focus area for community projects is physical fitness for children with a focus on healthy self-esteem and self-image. All the money that is put forth into the community will benefit physical fitness for children. If you know of a non-profit agency or group that would benefit, please refer to Guidelines & Application to be a League sponsored project and receive either a grant or volunteers. Questions may be directed to email@example.com.

Our current focus area for the State Public Affairs Committee (SPAC) is human trafficking. Questions about SPAC may be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
